Projects

Things I have started, built or helped build, newest first.

  • Rayhan AgroentrepriseSince 2026

A ginger and yam farm on family land at Folo, central Togo.

  • Soil Research2026

Measuring how a field's crop history shapes the soil that comes after.

  • Baraka LivestockSince 2026

A goat enterprise I founded in Bassar in May 2026.

It is locally managed and built on structured feeding, careful animal care, seasonal sales, clear records, and accountability between manager and investor.

  • Outdoor Classroom in Bolivia2025

Built an open-air classroom in Cochabamba with Alerta Verde and a Connecticut College team.

  • Nour Al Bayane Wal HoudahSince 2024

A low-cost school in Bassar that pairs academics with farming and practical skills.

  • Hoes for 72 Farmers2023

Hired Togolese blacksmiths to make tillage hoes for 72 farmers in Bassar.

The project was funded by UWC's Go Make A Difference program. It paid local craftsmen and put durable tools in farmers' hands. It also changed my plans for the school: I widened it from a purely Islamic school into a center for practical training.

  • Reused-Material Solar HomesTaos, NM

Helped build sustainable, solar-powered homes from reused materials in Taos, New Mexico.
